Filters
Blend¶
Blend the texture with a color and mix type.
Blending Mode¶
The Blend modes can be selected in the select menu. See Color Blend Modes for details on each blending mode.
Clamp Result¶
Limit the Result to the range between 0.0 and 1.0.
Clamp Factor¶
Limit the factor value between 0.0 and 1.0. If this option is unchecked then the node operates using Extrapolation.
Factor¶
Vary the amount this filter affects the layer.
Color¶
The color to blend with the layer.
Brightness/Contrast¶
Change the brightness and contrast of the texture.
Bright¶
An additive-type factor by which to increase the overall brightness of the image. Use a negative number to darken an image.
Contrast¶
A scaling type factor by which to make brighter pixels brighter, but keeping the darker pixels dark. Higher values make details stand out. Use a negative number to decrease the overall contrast in the image.
Dirt¶
Add dirt procedurally to the texture based upon the grooves and cracks of the base mesh.
Fac¶
Vary the amount this filter affects the layer.
Dirt Amount¶
Vary the amount of "dirt" to apply.
Gamma¶
Apply a gamma correction.
Gamma¶
Gamma controls the relative intensity of the mid-tones compared to the full black and full white.
HSV¶
Change the Hue, Saturation, and Value.
Fac¶
Vary the amount this filter affects the layer.
Hue¶
Hue rotation offset, from 0 (-180°) to 1 (+180°). Note that 0 and 1 have the same result.
Saturation¶
Value of 0 removes color from the image, making it black-and-white. A value greater than 1.0 increases saturation.
Value¶
Value shift. 0 makes the color black, 1 keeps it the same, and higher values make it brighter.
Invert¶
Invert the texture's colors.
Fac¶
Vary the amount this filter affects the layer.
RGB Curves¶
Color correct the texture with curves for each channel.
Curve¶
Perform level adjustments on each color channel.
See the Curve node for more information.
Factor¶
Vary the amount this filter affects the layer
Spots¶
Darken and/or lighten areas of the texture.
Darken/Lighten¶
Amount¶
Vary the amount of darkening/lightening happening.
Seed¶
Vary the position of the noise texture.
Blending Mode¶
Change the way this texture is applied onto the layer.
See Color Blend Modes for details on each blending mode.
Scale¶
Vary the scale of the noise.
Detail¶
Vary the level of detail of the noise.
Dimension¶
I don't know, play with it and figure it out yourself, or google it.
Lacunarity¶
I don't know, play with it and figure it out yourself, or google it.
Weathering¶
Weather the texture.
Fac¶
Vary the amount this filter affects the layer.
Amount¶
The amount of weathering to apply.
Setting Masks¶
For most settings in each filter there is a mask button to the far right. Clicking this mask with take you to a new panel where you can add multiple masks in to affect the setting. This allows you to do more with less layers. Instead of blending 2 or more grass layers together you can add just an HSV mask and affect the values with a noise texture to offset the color of the grass in more realistic ways!
See the Masks section for information on each mask.
